LarsArts - The Art of Lars Schotzau

This is the place where the guestbook used to be…But I was mentally harassed by the sales people, who wanted me to buy these little pills to improve the blood circulation in certain areas of the body…After 1000 mails I couldn’t deal with that “crap” anymore and I had to just chuck the hard work of the graphic designers into the bin…Instead you find now little bits and piece here, which I have done in the past and I shall do more in the future.

 Staring into the screen for hours and hours until your eyes turn into light bulbs and the brain into a grey mass, which doesn’t know where left and right is…the world of Photoshop…another form of creativity and I HAD to try….so far just a few attempts but if time is permitting it I shall “fly” into the 4th dimension in order to find out what I can suck out of my grey mass… 

 Seeing Olga (Have a look at www.cavenecadas.net) getting into the mood playing with stones, clay or whatever materials makes me want to try…breathing that creative energy out of her mind and joining her in the pursuit of the creation of jewels, which should hopefully embellish some female (or male) creatures walking through the streets of wherever… 

 Art…sometimes it is nothing else than being a child again…forgetting about all these responsibilities and just go crazy taking all sorts of pens and scribble on every surface possible ….or am I wrong here??? So, when I am in the mood I take everything I can get into my hands and play around with them… (Although I believe that Kids shouldn’t go onto the streets collecting street signs)...anyway…have a look for now…small section but it will grow in the future…fully depends on how many times I want to be a kid... (knowing myself…quite regularly)….ENJOY 

 Walking through the streets, seeing all this creativity on people’s bodies (Don’t have any naughty thoughts here will you!!!) and living with a fashion person for too long (joke Anni, keep on going) made me want to do some stuff as well…printing stuff onto shirts, painting onto shirt (not done yet, but very soon) etc….and if you are interested in any shirt then drop me a line…it will be a pleasure to do it for you. 

 I personally think this is an awesome idea for a little present for yourself or whoever ….taking drawings, photos, collages or whatever you like and transfer them onto a little canvas…printing a piece of art (what is art???) and stretch it onto a canvas….something you should have in your house….so send me some pictures and I shall try to do whatever is in my power to create something for you… 

 I am still one of these “poor” (financially) artists, who tries to gain richness (mentally)…but welcome to reality…cash is needed and I just don’t like sucking other people’s wallets (leather is not my cup of tea)…after all I am still a German and whenever I get the chance to build a site I am more than happy about it and it is fun anyway…This brings me to the point…If YOU need a simple site (purely representational…I am still a bit confused with all this database stuff) then click and drop me a line…Would be a great pleasure to do that for you…But for now…check out what I have done so far….
